Casus Kiran which is the "Turkish Spy Smasher" though his costume is that of Avenger X from the Italian comics and film.

Casus was really enjoyable. It has all the frenetic energy and delirious paper thin plotting stringing a series of fights and gun battles together, that you'd find in a cliffhanger serial, but condensed to 70 minutes. Since even the hero is a pretty brutal remorseless killer of bad guys, it is very similar to some of the more hard boiled masked hero pulps. From my banner at the bottom of this post, you might get why I'd appreciate it.

Triangle-It was very interesting to say the least. I can't call it horror, because there was very little horror in it. However, it was very pyschological. That's what I liked about it. Overall, it was ok.

Shutter Island-LOVED THIS MOVIE, especially the setting. An island with heavy storms, awesome! I sort of guessed the ending, but it was good. I loved it!

Gamera Vs Gyaos-had to throw in some sort of kaiju to rid me of all this psychological madness, Loved this movie, haven't seen it in a LONG time!

Clash of the Titans 2010...I was never a fan of the original and after seeing this film I'm convinced that there is only one person I want to see direct the Godzilla 2012 movie...I dug the heck out of this movie and really can't see what all the complaining was about...not a perfect movie or a life changing movie...predictable, yes...but it was fun....heck I had more fun with this then I did with Avatar actually and Sam Worthington I didn't feel indifferent too for the first time in a film...finally saw a little spark of what Cameron must have seen in him..

Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds (1977) 2/5
Ugh, I just wasn't entertained in the slightest. I tried too.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 4/5
Expected to be disappointed, but really enjoyed myself. Though unless you really love your inner nerd I dunno if you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

man, i posted a rather lengthy post here that got lagged out...

anywho:
Twelve Chairs - disappointing but not bad

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon - another disappointment (though perhaps that's because we're so far beyond its initial release and there's been a slew of ripoffs?)

Humanoids from the Deep - AMAZING

Invasion of the Body Snathchers (Donald Sutherland) - awesome

Negadon - totally solid, especially given it's an indy film

in the middle of Ong Bak right now and not super impressed...although the HORRENDOUS subtitles which are more like subs for the hearing imparied that are pissing me off could have a little something to do with that...

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid-I liked it, it was fun.

GMK-saw it twice this week, and I loved it both times.

Clash of the Titans-saw it the first time ever, on Blu-Ray. I gotta say, some parts made me laugh, some parts were not that bad, so parts were completely...HUH???? But all in all, it was an ok film. Nothing memorable though, but it was ok.

HOUSE-AMAZING MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the opportunity to watch this film for the first time on the big screen, and it was glorious! It was hilarious and completely psychadelic, and it was LOADS OF FUN! I gotta get the Blu-Ray!!! :D

Inglorious Basterds

Just so much violent fun, the ultimate Jewish revenge fantasy, and Christophe Waltz is proof that sometimes the Oscars do get it right.

I always wanted to see, as a DVD or Blu-Ray extra, a faux documentary about who really killed Hitler, Shoshanna or the Basterds.
