I saw the Thursday midnight showing, and walked in completely spoiler free. I've completely avoided every article and conversation about this movie ever since seeing the trailer last year (with Avatar?). In fact, this is the only movie I've seen in a theater this year.

And what a film it was. I really do think it was perfect, and perfectly executed right down to the last second. I came home so wired that I couldn't fall asleep until 5am (and bought the MP3 score off of Amazon as soon as I walked in!). I was a wreck on Friday, but this movie has stuck in my head for two solid days. I absolutely loved it (duh). I'm not sure if it will displace "Brazil" as my favorite all time film (strangely, the two are similar in some ways), but it's awfully close. Trying to resist seeing it again as soon as tomorrow.
