Knowing: Fairly dull with yet another phoned in Nicholas Cage performance.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths-We're getting to the point where the animated features are consistently better than the live action ones....and this is another example. Didn't like all the voice acting, but otherwise...pretty well done.

Hostel - freaking awful, awful movie...I could go on for DAYS on why this thing sucks not the LEAST of which is that it absolutely REVELS in the torture...very very much UNLIKE some other films with truly disturbing gore, this movie intends to have you ROOTING for the torture to occur...unfortunately for Mr. Roth, I'm not a sociopath like he is

Hotel Rwanda - really very good

7th Voyage of Sinbad - being CAPTIVATED by the effects certainly helps my appraisal that this movie is awesome

The Descent Part 2 - though it is in almost every way an inferior film to its predecessor, the director actually shows more talent and promise than Marshall ever has...this movie is DOOMED from the word "go" though...in the original, the Crawlers were an ace in the hole, something Marshal COULD have used effectively if he weren't just a God-awful hack...this film holds absolutely no surprises

Words of wisdom from Stone Cold Steve Austin,

"And thats the Bottom Line 'cause Stone Cold Said so"!
"What!?"
"Austin 3:16,said I just whooped your ass!"

Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet. A pretty goofy Russian film from the '60s, dubbed for western audiences with a small handful of new scenes with BASIL RATHBONE. Terrible, but worth a watch for the unintentional humor. It's on a $1 DVD I got at Wal-Mart two or three years ago with Cosmos War of the Planets, Assignment Outer Space, and Warning from Space, the latter of which was my reason for buying the disc and the only one I'd watched until earlier today.

Eden Lake - Maybe it's just my small shred of faith in the human race, but I find it PREPOSTEROUS that you could peer pressure a GROUP of kids into murder solely on the strength of one ring-leader...the fact that the ENTIRE MOVIE hinges on this point is what really leads to its ultimate failure to scare me in the least
