For those interested today saw the release of 'Wrath of the Titans' on DVD. Wrath is the comic series that takes place after the events of the original Clash. It features many of Harryhausen's creatures including the Cyclops and was originally endorsed by Harryhausen himself! The artwork is done by none other then the kaiju artist/genius Matt Frank.

The movie is a motion comic, similar to the Watchmen motion comic that was released in conjunction with the movie.

Now for the news that made me kind of 'Bleh'. I was talking to Matt a few weeks ago (he designs my tattoos) and mentioned that they were releasing his comic on DVD. He was shocked and told me he had absolutely no idea that they were doing that. You would think SOMEONE would tell the guy his comic was going to be turned into a motion comic....jeez.

Anyway, here is the link to Amazon's page for it.
http://www.amazon.com/Wrath-Titans-bonu ... 450&sr=8-1

Also comes with a comic for the side story involving the Cyclops and his tribe.

I have the original coming on BD from Netflix tomorrow can't wait. Also I'm sort of interested in the remake but doubt I'll see it at the Theater most likely won't see it until it hits the home video market.

The original was fantastic. At least the last time I saw it, which was when I was a kid when it came out.

I think I'll have to watch it in theaters. To me it looks like one of those movies that will be more enjoyable with a bigger screen: when they showed the preview during avatar imax the roar of the kraken shook my seat.

First clip posted. Its not really doing anything for me. The makeup effects are great, but whose idea was it to make the scene with the three witches into a fist fight? And how do they know Perseus is holding the eye over the cliff if they can't see?
