Mothra III isn't that bad if you watch it as a children's flick.

I'm starting to think I'm the only one who enjoyed the Mothra trilogy :?

I like the first (a fair amount of good comedy) and third; the second seems just a rather cluttered, overlong mess, but still lavish and full of interesting visuals.

Of course they are children's films, just as Godzilla's Revenge and most of the Gamera films are (although I don't care much for the latter, even as kiddie movies). You have to accept them for what they are, not what you want them to be.

I also enjoy the variations of King Ghidorah in this series, especially the four-legged one that didn't work out so well...supposedly the costume had a lot of problems, and didn't work as designed, so they really had to shoot around it a lot.

Kiddy film, not-a-classic, or whatever you wish to call it, I was looking forward to Rebirth of Mothra 3's release the most, second only to the original Mothra. It's been far too long since I've seen Grand Ghidorah - still the best Ghidorah since the original - in action.

Stupid Sony...
