Even though I feel the individual episodes were nice stand alone stories, this one was really unique. It almost doesn't seem like a part of the same series. Good stuff!

this is a great episode with a great monster. nice to see Ultraman had been on Earth before. lots of mystery surrounding it all, and never explained, either.

I love the way this and other episodes of Ultraman really cement the idea that the Science Patrol is not just Japanese but a proper international organization, but this one also gets bonus points for giving us a setting outside of Japan, even if it's through set piece magic and whatnot. A good number of future Ultra Series (and other toku films/series) don't bother to highlight this fact anymore and leave Japan with its unexplained title of Daikaiju Ground Zero.

Added on top of a strong story, the mysterious Noah, an attractive priestess :) , and one of the better Ultra Monsters in this series, and you have a winner of an episode. Of all the episodes covered so far, I think this has to be my favorite. Even beating out Baltan's introduction, just barely!
