Yeah...wasn't it fantastic how the re-editing makes the Russians at fault for the nuclear missle launch while in the Japanese version the Russian guy (whose name escapes me) was actually trying to prevent the launch? Gotta love Reagan era politics, right?

The only thing about the American version that I think improves upon the Japanese version is Burr's speech at the end and the improved musical suite that replaces that godawful "Goodbye Now Godzirra" song. Apart from that you can have the New World version.

I have a little figure of Goji84 sleeping against the skyscraper. One of my favorite shots from any of these movies.
