They don't do a whole lot with new Toho sculpts these days, but when they do it's usually some kind of even. That's seriously sweet.

I remember hearing about this and seeing a prototype for this waaayyy back when. Sometime last year. Not sure when though.

Pretty cool figure(s?) This is what I'm feeling toy companies should be focusing on during the current film lull - coming up with new, creative ways to present our classic kaiju as toys. How big is this one supposed to be? If the price is right, I imagine it'll sell out pretty quickly.

Maybe these boutique companies will bring us some interesting stuff this year after all. Here's hoping CCP does something a little more inventive than their typical glowy things (I can hope...?)

Ohhh I see what happened there.

philly's link initially went to an older Marmit page featuring the double-casted toys they eventually sold at the Wonderfest last weekend. Since then the page has been updated to feature several new figures including a re-release of the Iron Joe Gezora and this Godzilla:

Nice looking figure. Hopefully we'll see an Orga or a Megagiras before too long. At this rate the only Godzilla movie left for Marmit to make figures from would be GMK.

I'm keeping an eye on Megalon. He's probably the closest to accurate out of all the versions of the mold, and being double-casted befits a giant insect.
