August, would you happen to know how well BCI's Iron King DVD set has been selling? Because not to downplay it, but I'm sure something like Ultra Seven would sell considerably better.

I'm just glad it's over and Tsuburaya has their rightful property back totally in their hands.

I was probably a bit selfish buying the BCI/Chaiyo produced U.S. Ultraman set as I didn't think there would be much movement for quite a long time on the legal issues.

I may have implied that since Tsuburaya was staying quiet on the issues that they were not actively fighting all along and they knew they didn't have the rights. For this, I also apologize. They were indeed seeking legal recourse and in their position, it was best for them not to try the case in the court of public opinion. So, my sincere apologies over that.

I'll gladly buy all new Ultraman sets from the company that Tsuburaya partners with here in the U.S. There's probably a ton of stuff they can give the fans here on the dvds as supplements that BCI could not.

Behind the scenes photos of the production, artwork, concept art, script excerpts, episode commentaries(August, hint, hint!!) Interviews with the cast members, etc.

I'd also love to see Ultraman released on high definition Blu Ray disc here in the States. Do you know if Tsuburaya has any plans in Japan for high def remasters of any of the series, August?

Ultra Q, Ultraman and Ultraseven.....bring em on!!

I'm sad to say I actually don't own Gunbuster,specifically because it cost so damn much. Allthough,if anything's worth that much,it's Gunbuster.

August,what I meant is that the dubs stopping in mid episode isn't a glitch,the dubs knowingly were left out because BCI didn't have them.

Actually, before Chaiyo made their lawsuit public (before ULTRAMAN TIGA was sold to 4Kids), Tsuburaya Productions was about to sign a deal with a major US DVD label for an ULTRAMAN box set... I can't tell you which company, but they are bigger and more mainstream that Media Blasters or Animeigo.
