And a silly question at that. :P But for the sake of posterity, not a terrible thing that it remained included.

Look what happened with the James Bond DVDs. They got released in 4 box sets at Xmas time and then, a couple months later they put out individual discs.

Not only does it appeal to some consumers to get the box sets, but companies can also make sure lesser titles that might not sell well on their own, get out there and are purchased.

How many people would have bought MOONRAKER if it wasn't in one of the Bond sets?

Everyone complains about GODZILLA'S REVENGE (ALL MONSTERS ATTACK), so would it have sold as many copies as GOJIRA if they weren't boxed together?

Those wanting the single discs just have to be a little more patient. But, at least they will be available.

So quit your belly-achin' man!! :smash:

Yeah I picked up all 4 of the Bond Collections from outpost.com when they had them for $28 each, and I've been making my way through the movies in order. I'm only up to Goldfinger, which I watched last night, but the restoration that Lowry did is amazing.

I've been reading this thread for weeks now, debating waiting for the singles or buying the box set. I already bought all the singles released so far. I finally broke down and ordered the box set through Amazon. Does anyone know if the films in the box set are individually wrapped? If so, I'll just give them away as gifts or attempt to exchange them at various stores with liberal return policies.

It'll be nice to have the box to keep my already purchased DVDs in. I'll hold on to that.

Btw, I noticed Blockbuster has all the singles available for online rental, including the 2 new singles. Just a heads up.
