It's certainly not againt the rules to keep a thread active. But obviously the thread was pretty much inactive. That's why mechascorpio unstuck it.

Personally, I've just been involved with way too many projects to actually get any covers done. I still need to finish my Megalon and G's Rvenge covers. While I'm sure it may seem lazy, it's merely a priorities shift.

So please, if you want to keep the thread at the top, at least pose questions or post updates or whatever.

i do have an update sort of, and i hope Kyle doesn't mind me sharing it with you guys...
basically, i'm using all his Heisei covers for my own personal collection, but on the backs of all of them where he has a Special Features thing, I've just added a tagline and a short, in my own words synopsis, i guess if anyone is interested in that, you could PM me...
I wouldn't want to be accused of trying to pass of someone else's work as my own though...
I definately didn't do anything other than change the text on the back of the cover, and i guess anyone could just as easily do it themselves...

it just makes it a little more universal, I think, as I know there would be people (friends/family) who would maybe watch one of the discs and go "hey! all that stuff isn't on here!"

If any cover art people out there are interested, i think it'd be REALLY awesome to see custom cover art of ALL the showa films in the CM style...

i dont have the time for it but it might be an interesting thing to see since all of the showa movies will have legitimate dual-language R1 releases once CM has released all their titles...(except for King Kong vs. Godzilla, and Destroy All Monsters)

I have a huge request to you all.

Can someone please post here or send me on my email or PM all art style posters from heisei and shinsei series (i'm looking for a detailed ones). Well, I would be grateful 'cos i've been looking for them for a long time and still i haven't found what i'm looking for.

The work done here is fantastic except for one thing. I wish the creative individuals would find a way to make their work true to size. Every attempt to modify deminishes details when trying to correct it myself.

I copy and save attachments and use the font tool or resize in the printer options to increase picture size to fit the DVD case. When I do this, the pixel read breaks down and makes the fine print unreadable and the images blur somewat. I'll save it to Microsoft Word or (better yet) Microsoft Powerpoint to do the refitting.
