Sometimes it can be fun to speculate about these things, but too much of it can lead into Star Trek fan territory.

Y'know, all that technobabble and stuff.
To be honest, I've never cared how a lightsabre works, where Gamera's legs go when he flies, the inner workings of warp drives, transporters and whatnot. I just want to watch some cool scif-fi and monster movies.
That said, I love those monster anatomy books with the cross-sections of their innards and that. They look really cool.

(did you know Ultraman is a cyborg? I thought that was pretty nifty

)
Speaking of which, does anyone here have that book showing where Godzilla's fire originates? And if so, can someone let us know what it actually says? Last I checked, that little factoid was first mentioned over at the Twisted Kaiju Theater boards. The folks there can be a pretty ribald bunch at times.
Somehow, I really doubt Honda, Tsuburaya and Tanaka had atomic genitallia in mind when they thought up the concept of Godzilla's radioactive fire.
I mean, c'mon - it's just
filthy!
Oh, and apologies to Cousin for dredging up this thread. Until I can find some sort of official confirmation, that info is one piece of kaiju lore I will refuse to accept.
