I just got the two DVDs a few days ago in the mail (just ordered them recently, been busy)

and I have to say, I have no major complaints...

I mean, as far as the DVDs themselves, the packaging is cool and etc, etc, I just don't like that the bellybands are what holds the cases closed....it's pretty obvious that these are the same exact cases that will be sold in the box set when it comes out...

On to the DVDs...
I have watched ALL of the GRA disc and it's pretty fantastic imho...
the commentary was interesting (i actually found it a lil MORE interesting and watchable than the Gojira commentary)
The movie itself however, does not do it for me, in either form

The Japanese version is too quiet, and actually put me to sleep twice before I was able to finish watching it the whole way through (i tend to watch these films late at night)
The American version, on the other hand, makes NO SENSE like refusing to call Godzilla 'Godzilla' and the psuedo-science is laughable at best
The pacing of this movie is the pits and did anyone else notice that even in the Japanese version there's only like TWO SOLID GODZILLA ROARS?!?
what's the deal with that?

As far as MOTHRA...
i've only watched the American version up to this point, and havent had time to watch everything else...but I LOVE this movie and i LOVE how EVIL Godzilla is...

No answer from CM about my replacement gra disc and thanksgiving was over a few days ago..It's kind of frustrating when they dont reply to the emails..
