Mixing Toho and Toei monsters is not a big deal at all. The only ones who would even be aware of that would be geeks like us.
I have had several people tell me they have fond memories of Godzilla v.s. Gamera from child hood. I have to explain they
are incorrect in their recolection. The latest incident being this weekend while I bougt the "13 hours of Giant Monsters" DVD.
I have also heard how Godzilla once fought this monster with a big knife on his head. People also really seem to have liked
Godzilla v.s. Rodan. So, I think most fans would really like a Toho Toei mix and most other folks wouldn't know or care.

Ultraman needs a severe timeout....All he does is judo-chop monsters to death, occaisionally roundhouse kick them, then flip the bird at them....anyone ever notice that?

Yes, Ultraman has some cruelty issues. Also, at times he is arrogant and insensitive to the monsters. Some of them deserve to have a serious beat-down. Monsters like the Baltans, Ragon is a jerk too. But a lot of then are just hungry and are trying to eat. Anyhoooo... Godzilla seems to fight in a much more decent and honorable fassion. He only kills monsters that need killin', and then, he does it as quick as he can to the best of his abilities.

Considering they're roughly a story shorter than Godzilla, maybe more, One would think Big G would have a slight advantage against them.
Then again, Ultraman'll always be faster than him, regardless of how tall Godzilla is. So speed is key.
I think one on one, they'd have a pretty decent fight 'til dawn or 'til Godzilla takes Ultra down to the ocean depths with him.
However, knowing Ultraman, he'll call his homeultras for a dignified fly-by on Godzilla...then a gang beatdown.
