Anybody know if corn cob hippie guy was in any other films, especially toho? That's one of those useless bits of movie trivia I'd like to know (plus I'd want to go and watch the film).

You know, I bet the corn cob hippe is actually a cockroach alien. When the cartoonist asks him if he knew about Nebula Space Hunter M, we get real nervous laughter and, "heh, never heard of it!" Sounds suspicious if you ask me...

I was taking images for a Godzilla vs. Gigan film still gallery today, when I noticed this pointless little bit of trivia, and figured I'd post it here.

When Gengo shows Machiko and Shosaku the key to the pay locker he put the tape in, it has a white plastic key tab with neatly-printed numbering on it:



But when he goes to the locker and unlocks it with the key, it has a different tab with sloppily-etched Sharpie ink numbers:
