Kaiju effects on the societies of the world?

I was just wanting to get a discussion going about what would really happen to the world and its societies? How will the economics react will the world come together to try and stop them or will we still bicker like we always do? Where will everyone live will we be forced to go to space or underground but they still are inhabited? Well, space is more of a travel way then anything? Will we beable to rebuild? But personally I think we will be hopeless if this happens. But lets discuss it.

Well, since nations don't seem to prepare themselves for hurricanes, typhoons, volcanoes or other natural disasters, it doesn't bode well for anticipating any kaiju attack...

Hopefully, any nation with sense will treat powerful kaiju as independent powers, and try to work out what they want and see if it can be supplied while keeping the world economy in reasonable condition. For example, since Big G likes to absorb nuclear energy why not get into the habit of dumping nuclear waste in some deserted pacific island and 'encouraging' Godzilla to visit there for his needs (perhaps Miki Seagusa could help here!). That way Godzilla remains happy and has no need to visit mainlands and by his absorbing the nuclear radiation we get rid of dangerous toxic waste...
