I find all three Jaws sequels enjoyable in their own ways, as already stated, Jaws 3 doesn't take itself too seriously (it was initially intended as a spoof after all), and Jaws The Revenge can't be intended as a serious film, with a (roaring) great white seeking revenge on the Brody family and all...

None of them holds a candle to the original though. :)

Don't worry, a film called Meg (yes that's the title) is scheduled to be released in summer 2007. It's about a giant megladon shark. It will be directed by Jan de Bont (director of Speed and Twister).

I guess I should just note that the only good shark movie was this movie:

The rest pail horribly in comparison, and I know Meg will too.

It's not nearly up to "JAWS" caliber, and it's not about a great white either, but has anyone else on here ever seen "Mako: Jaws of Death"? I caught it once on local TV, back in the mid to late '80s, and actually liked it (being the '70s B movie fan...and just B movie fan in general...that I am) and was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of the film's possible availability on video/DVD?

I remeber that film I should try to browse local video shops to find it again. I actually thought it was a Jaws sequel when I first so it

What about Tinttora does anybody remember that film.
