It's not as indepth, but try out ULTRA NO SEKAI http://ultranosekai.50webs.com/ Also, if you try the Ultraman Lah! message boards, http://ultramanlah.com/forum/index.php , there's information about defuct sites like Absolute Ultraman.

There were pop-ups? I didn't notice. I was using Firefox too. :)
