Loved it. These "Pegasus/Resurrection Ship" episodes have been some of the most tense drama on TV, sci-fi or otherwise. So much happened last night that my head was reeling afterwards.

I do agree that I personally might have liked to see more of the battle, and wondered why the thing with Lee was taking up time. But I suspect they're laying the seeds for Lee leaving the military altogether. It's obviously going to be something important, or else why open the show with it?

What little battle we did see was tremendous. It was very different than what we've seen in things like Trek, SW, B5 and Farscape before.

My rather slow french neighbor was watching it with me yammering away like DVD commentary the whole show, annoying me greatlky, so I need perhaps I need to give it another look, but as of now I was vaughly dissapointed by allowing Adama and Starbuck an easy way out of the Kane situation. Then again it was a surprise to end the show with the Pegasus still part of the fleet.

Tonight's episode was a somewhat more lighter one but still somewhat harsh.

President Roslin nearly dies of her cancer but use of cells from Sharon's baby saves her (thank god they didn't decide to kill the baby because once the Cylons find out, if they haven't gone ape over the destruction of the Ressurection ship, they would have certainly gone ape over this). During that time, she flashes back and along with the people she remembers, guess who she sees together (if I were Baltar, I'd really watch my back).

Also, true, pure human protest movements have sprung up demanding peace with the Cylons. In a way I can't really blame them the constant firefights are going to wear both the Galactica and Pegasus down to the point that sooner or later, they'll make a mistake that will cost the lives of everyone.

What did you all think.

Well I saw tonight's episode.

Will have to watch it again to get some of the details down but here are two things.

1. It seems that Cylon Raiders also have the ability to download themselves into a new one. So I wonder how many Cylon Raiders know who killed them the first time and they want to settle the score like Scar wanted to with Kara.

2. The scene at the end where Kara gives a toast to all of their dead comrades and almost recites all of the names of their dead comrades was very nice and reminded me of several of the Star Trek DS9 episodes that dealt with the Dominion War and the casaulty lists that Captain Sisko and gang must read through every week. :!:

Will have more later after watching it the second time around.

I was starting to worry that this week was going to be as bad and as soapy as last week's "Black Market", but it turned out great, very engaging. Having a Cylon with a name ("Scar") reminded me of Ol' Red Eye from the old days... but there was nothing sympathetic about this raider!

Hmmm. If the Raiders are the only ones following the Battlestars now, couldn't one of them jump back to Cylon space, report the destruction of the Resurrection ship and the current location of the human fleet? Then couldn't the Cylons just send another resurrection ship and couple of base stars?

Also, seems like they sure built that mining colony pretty quick.

Maybe that's how they got the fuel off that one asteroid in season 1, after they bombed the factory that was already there, and then they were on their way again the very episode.
We never did see how they mined the ice off that one planet either (other than making the prisoners do it).
Signatures are stupid and annoying.
