Too bad...

Spinning flame-jetted turtles, space birds being chopped up like bologna, kids in shorts screaming for help...the original Gamera series was a strange mix of wacky fun!! The 90's Gamera films set a standard that other kaiju films are measured against! Discuss Gamera films here!!

Sorry to bump an older thread, but I have a Japanese Gamera comic book in which those two (the cobra thing with the blades on the sides of its head, and the bumpy birdfaced guy) make an appearance. Theres also the rest of the showa era enemy monsters (although Gyaos looks more like the heisei version)... thers also a giant one of those star-shaped aliens with a giant eye in the center from "Warning from Space", and several other strange looking creatures. The comic was apparently put out around the time GotU was released, as it has a bunch of photos from the film at the beginning, before the comic starts (although, at the time I got it, I thought it was the back of the book  )
Anyways, I always wondered what those two mosters were from... and now I know!
