I've said that a lot myself, both about the budget and how many times I've watched this movie.

Yep, it's certainly a fun movie. While I was watching the German dvd last night, there were times I was so wrapped up in the film that I forgot it was the German version! I guess that comes from having watched the movie so many times.
Folks, I'll say it again - this is an excellent dvd.

Sidestepping Kaiju

Postby Gojira69 » Tue Sep 23, 2003 11:58 am

I love when Godzilla first appears to rescue JJ's ass; I love the way Megalon and Gaigan sidestep as if they are willing to leave the scene now but they don't want to turn their backs to or take their eyes off of Godzilla for fear of what a PO'd G might do to them. Priceless!

Sidesteppin' kaiju... pretty cool.

Someone could put that scene to Achy Breaky Heart and make it look like a line dance.

That's funny!
I'm making a comp DVD-r with all the old movies that used to play on my local stations- clips of them- to give as a gift to the woman who actually scheduled some of them! I just can't remember if Megalon was one of them.
Might do it anyway!

^^ That's a good idea. She'll get a kick out of the Megalon clips, *especially* if she hasn't seen it!

I gave the disc to the producer- I haven't had any feedback on it yet.
