I would guess he got supercharged. But not understanding Japanese I'm just making a fan educated guess.

I'd say he was supercharged past his normal abilities. Did you see how he just threw him into the air like he was nothing? The red ray signifies a higher energy level as well (that part was a cool throwback to the Heisei series, wasn't it?
