There are not only those who "violently hate" this movie, but also those who try to defend it at any cost and just can't stop arguing about it. That is where the trouble comes from. I am reading all the threads about GFW (but don't post much, simply because I have not yet seen it), so I know what I am talking about. One side feels provoked by the other ... and there you go. :goofy:
Anyway, isn't it logical that there are people who passionately dislike it? Regardless of how one may personally feel about it, I think we all know that GFW is a very "different" movie and certainly not what most people expected -- for better or for worse. And it has always been like this: If there is something very "different", it will polarize people and debates will become very emotional.
Besides, considering the fact that most fans have not even seen this movie yet, I don't think that a question like "is GFW going to become the most violently hated [...] Godzilla film of all time" really makes sense.
