About the preview- was there any dialogue other than Gordon, so we can at least get a hint of the voice acting? And more importantly- Gordon wasn't dubbed, right?

This is a little better than the advertising for Tokyo SOS and Godzilla X MechaGodzilla; did those ones even get any sort of print ad or anything? I'm unaware of any.

I think it's pretty cool that they just went ahead and used one of the already-good trailers. All they had to do was clip off the little end bit in Japanese that said "Goodbye, Godzilla" and the rest was in English! Presto! That's why I'm surprised that they didn't just go ahead and use one of the existing Japanese DVD covers or posters for the R1 DVD, since they all featured an English logo (and all looked pretty cool). It worked with Godzilla X MechaGodzilla and that was one of their best DVD covers out of the recent batch, I think. Anyway... :OT:

I've been wondering if Final Wars may prove to be a runaway hit on home video, considering it's different style and wild entertainment value, and the fact that the PSP release may open it to an even wider audience. Who else is thinking this?

Good score, Ben.

The GFW trailer is also included as a promo on some other recent Sony DVDs.
