What would you have done for GFW or the 50th Anniversary?

Ok Folks:

This is a question I have asked numerous times, and yet many have avoided it like the plague and refused to give any type of answer. So, here it goes again (and this challenge also goes out to insiders as well, as they shouldn't be exempt from this question):

What storyline would die hard GFW critics (especially the most vocal ones on here...and they know who they are) have wanted to see for the 50th anniversary? And no, I am not talking about generic blanket statements such as "I would have made the tone dark and serious! I would have brought Kaneko or Tezuka back....Kitamura sucks! The music sucks! The effects were bad, I would have Higuchi do it" that are pretty much useless. Nor unlrealistic ideas like "I'd would have had Godzilla fight King Kong".

No, I want to hear your *PLOT* outline/storyline for what story you would have wanted to see, what kaiju you would have included, what type of main heroes/characters you would have had (scientists, military types, agents/police, aliens, etc). This is *MORE THAN A FAIR* question to ask, as many fans rip GFW as if it's the worse thing ever made (and even blame it for the end of the series...which I myself thing is absolutely absurd, but that's for another topic and thread), but remain silent when some have asked for their alternative ideas. I was asked this on the old boards about alternatives to GxMG and GSoS, and I had no problems giving my preferred storyline I wanted to see, so it's now time to hear the same. To be fair, if you come up with a storyline that sounds better than what we ended up with for the 50th, then I will have no bones about giving credit where it's due (at the same time, I will not refrain from explaining why a proposed storyline would not have been good for the 50th). And fans have the major advantage of Hindsight, so no more delays and excuses...let's hear your ideas and storylines GFW critics would have made for the 50th anniversary film that would have "saved" the series and been a critical and financial success.....

This is going exactly as I predicted thus far and proves my point perfectly....GFW Haters and insiders, while quick to nitpick this film and write lengthy reviews and posts as to why they despised it on a regular basis along with blaming it for everything, from ending the Godzilla series to world poverty, do not have (nor ever had and most likely never will have) any solid ideas or alternatives of their own as to what they would have done for the 50th anniversary film that they think would been a commercial and financial success and savior of the series.

Well, that's 4 that have already struck out at the plate...so still waiting for a GFW hater to step up to the plate with a serious, original storyline and idea that they would have done for the 50th anniversary film....this could be a long wait.

Hey, I can't help it if I just started back to school and I still have to work in the deli w/o a car.

But, I plan on posting a serious plot soon (probably Saturday or sunday)

As for the Xiliens, I would have liked to have seen some conflict in their ranks regarding their plans to colonize the earth. Perhaps, a lieutenant, a female second-in-charge, sees the inherent evil in what they are doing, and decides to oppose the leader, or somehow help the earthlings. Is she able to defect, and live to see the happy ending? Or does she make the ultimate sacrifice? Her attempts to clandestinely help the crew of the Gotengo would provide a lot of tension and drama. Personally, I feel it would be interesting (and entertaining) to see this sympathetic Xilien helping the film's heroes right under the nose of the wisecracking, psychotic leader. It would be like a gag that everyone else is in on-including the audience-except the one being fooled.

Or course, a plot line like this would make GFW decidedly less goofy and a lot more serious with the introduction of several moral issues.

Shorten the corny martial arts fights, and lengthen the monster action. As hard as they tried to make The Matrix 4, it was still SUPPOSED to be a Kaiju film. So why were their scenes so damn short!?!? The new Kaiju costumes rocked, yet we only got fleeting glimpses of most of them!

To lengthen the ending battle, I would have entered King C., Rodan, and Angillas to battle with Mothra and Godzilla against Gigan and Monster X. Then after a more interesting defeat of Gigan, Monster X would transform into Kaiser Ghidorah, and would take on all the Kaiju at Godzilla's side. I would have kept Minya, but given him his original sound effects and had him giant the whole time...none of the lame growth spurts for no apparent reason.
