GFW to this day remains the one Godzilla movie that I've never been able to watch all the way through. It's a loathesome mess of a film that I wish to forget about.

I've never had trouble getting through Final Wars. I do love it in a brainless fun kind of way, the only millennium film I have trouble getting through is Megaguirus.

I think the purpose of that scene was to show that Godzilla instinctively knows who his enemies are.
