I agree with ya about G2000's US cut in that it's somewhat better than the original version, (still like that one, though) but disagree with you about the UFO noise. I love that sound - it's so, well....otherworldly. :) It's got this whole '50s sci-fi vibe going on there. Not to mention it sounds great coming through a surround setup.
Love the noise it makes powering up it's main gun too.

Man, I am tired. I've had like, what, 4 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. I don't have time to post all my thoughts on the two versions of Godzilla 2000 right now, so I redirect you to my post .

And yes, love the UFO sounds in the American version. :)
