Today we shot an interview with Yoshimitsu Banno, director of GODZILLA VS. HEDORAH (aka GODZILLA VS. THE SMOG MONSTER) and Executive Producer of this year's GODZILLA from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. We talked a lot about both movies as well as some of Banno's other projects (including some new and upcoming ones!)

The interview is schedule to run on SciFi JAPAN TV on September 4th, with the extended interview on SciFi JAPAN TV EXTRA on September 11th.



Now we're wrapping up with most of the summer events coverage, we're lining up a few more big interviews for the rest of the year. There may be an opportunity soon for fans have their own questions answered by the filmmakers on SciFi Japan TV, so please keep checking for announcements in this thread and on scifijapan.com

Yesterday we shot an interview with Masaaki Tezuka, director of Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.!

On a personal note, I must say I was a big fan of his Mechagodzilla films back in the day, so this is an interview I've been wanting to do for a long time. And it's a great one! Tezuka-san is very outgoing and a great storyteller. I think it will be one of our best shows yet.
