Final episode already?

Postby Jared » Sat Jan 17, 2015 10:42 am

Nooooo!!

Dont get me wrong, this program had a great run (and as mentioned, you guys got some content/interviews that would not have seemed likely in the beginning)...but I just...want...more!

Really great work, guys, the series was equally entertaining and educational, and further enriched my experience as a kaiju fan. Loved every episode, but my favorites were with Nakano (especially on THE RETURN OF GODZILLA), Tezuka, Banno and Nakajima.

The run was nothing short of incredible, and it'll continue to be a resource for fans now that it's out there.

I, too, am saddened this show came to an end. It was - and still is - a terrific resource for Tokusatsu information. I look forward to seeing what may come next!

... and now, about a year and half later the series is essentially revived as 'Tokyo Monsters' and all is right with the world.

Huzzah! :D Thanks for the heads-up! I just watched all the episodes so far, except for the spoilery Shin Godzilla discussion/review one. I'll come back to that once I've seen the film for myself.

It's great that this series has (essentially) returned. I only discovered SciFi Japan TV close to the end of its run, and after promptly binge-watching loads of episodes was then immediately disappointed that there wouldn't be any more, so it's awesome to see that JR and Jim are back with a new monster-themed show; and with an appropriate title too, given James' old site! :D Great to have them back!
