I like 'Go Go Power Rangers', the Battlestar Galactica theme from the 1978 series, and all the themes from the Star Trek series.

You know, it has been ages since I've actually paid for an album. Scratch that; think I paid for the Baby Driver soundtrack last year... Anyway, with the maximum availability of everything via streaming and whatnot music is more available than ever yet at the same time I feel a bit disconnected from the process of listening to music without actually purchasing or owning anything. I grew up listening to my mother's vinyl collection, and I've bought a few LPs (which I cannot play because I don't have a turntable) in the last couple years... Maybe it's time to buy a turntable?

Have some great local record stores, too.

This Daniel Taulbee on YouTube does synth covers of various kaiju themes, many of them for Wikizilla's YT channel. They're usually straightforward but good. I come back to this one fairly often:

I have a lot of opening/closing songs from anime on my phone.
I do own some CDs and have put my favorite songs on there as well.
Mostly stuff from the '70s-'80s.
