April Folly's Day falls on Easter Sunday this year, which is appropriate because Thomas was kinda the first April Fool, right?

It's strange that Easter and April Fools Day are the same day this year.

Not really April 1st is always the same (talking about the calendar date, not the tradition that some include with it). The Pagan Celebration of Astarte, the Phoenician fertility goddess who had the Babylonian counterpart Ishtar was integrated into Christendom long after the death/resurrection of Christ, and thus the celebration has nothing to do with him, even though modern calendars try to place it after the Passover.
