Anyone else a huge college basketball fan?

It's finally back...which means I know what I'll be doing most of the night.

Well, they say Kentucky will be good enough, so much so, that they probaby can beat a bad NBA team!

Unfortunately for me, I always consider Kentucky and Duke the villians of this sport and it looks like both will have great seasons (Duke especially is the main bad guy for me).

Well, here in So. Cal, I follow UCLA. Unfortunately, they lost so much fire power from last year's squad, that it will be a tough season, and I am not especially looking forward to their nationally televised game against Kentucky in December. Arizona Wildcats seem to be the class of the West Coast this year.

College Basketball (and college baseball, I guess)...probably the one sport I don't really get into at all, until the tournament at the end of the year. And even that, I only get into on a marginal, betting level.

I didn't go to a big sports college, so I have no real rooting interest. Also, basketball isn't a staple in my hometown. Also, hockey.

It is funny, but here in So. Cal (meaning the greater Los Angeles area), we have two great hockey teams, and I am more into hockey than pro football, which of course, we have not had a pro football team in 20 years. I use to like the NFL, but since we lost our teams, I have no rooting interest in any football squad, and thus my attraction to that sport has radically diminished. I say go Kings (Stanley Cup champs!) and go Ducks! (Stanley Cup champs 2015! ).

Eh, Hockey is a step above soccer for me. I enjoy it at live events, but I'd take Football over Hockey any day. I also think the NCAA tourney is by far the best sporting event. Last year's tourney was incredible.
