Are your Heisei Godzilla thunder thighs helping you destroy cities and withstand enemy attacks, but keeping away all the ladies? Or is your GMK Godzilla potbelly sticking out so far in front of you that your innie is threatening to pop up to an outie? Maybe you've got a couple extra chins and neck fat like LegendGoji? Need some motivation to turn your Chubzilla into a svelt, GFW form?
Well, then join HybridGojira and I in the MONSTER ZERO WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE-ALLENGE-allenge--!!!!
The rules as we've discussed them thus far:
-Beginning June 2nd and running through September 1st, with weigh-ins every Monday. Post a pic of yourself on a scale and the number on the scale.
-Winner to be determined by % of weight lost, not by total pounds lost (OR if we get enough people...we honestly could do BOTH, since my original idea was loser buys the winner a blu-ray of Godzilla 2014...if we get like 2-3 more people, we could split that pot evenly and each winner would get more than enough to buy a copy)
-Everyone kicks in $25. We pay the winner(s) through PayPal. We're flexible on the amount of money...ESPECIALY if we get enough people. If ten of us do this, it could be $10.
-No laxatives, colonics, diet pills, diuretics, etc...I guess we have to just trust people on this but, come on, this is about getting in shape and getting healthy and NOT about fleecing the members of your/our MZ extended family.
So, who's in? Who wants to start being able to crush MUTO underfoot AND look good while doing it? Who's ready to learn to fight their own battles? Who's ready to stop being big...and terrible..and more frightening than you ever thought possible, and step up, tell that flab that "Oh no...I say you've got to GO. GO GO FLABZILLA!"?
Then join Hybrid Gojira and I for the Monster Zero Weight Loss Challenge!!!!

I guess most people on here are insisting that "round is a shape".
Suits me. Hybrid will be buying me a Godzilla blu-ray when I win the challenge (oh yeah, it's smack talk time)

I'm probably 20 pounds under my ideal/healthy weight, so if anyone wants to start a Monster Zero Weight Gain Challenge, i'd be happy to join. (not joking)

Jelly.
Your name involves a donut.
I feel like that alone gives me +1 on my chances.

Anyway, this starts tomorrow!

...I've weighed in at 237 lbs.
That's quite a bit more than I thought. I am sad. Time to get rid of this weight.

I was really hoping you would trash talk each other and not yourselves. Next week I expect a healthy amount of trash talking during weigh ins.

My goals aren't really in line with this Challenge, but I've lost 4 pounds in the last two weeks (as the school year ends I'm finding I have more and more time for exercise).
I gained 15 pounds over the winter so I'm just working on that. Only 11 pounds to go.

One week down and I'm FIRMLY in the lead as a certain somebody (not me) has GAINED 0.2 lbs, while a certain other somebody (me) has lost 5.4 lbs.
I can almost SMELL that Godzilla blu-ray. The crisp plastic, the slight hint of ozone...it's going to look even better in my theater seeing as how it'll be a won item.

Evidently, Father's Day did me in badly...I flatlined this week (and I'm PISSED about it).
But luckily, chubsy-wubsy GAINED...AGAIN.
Things are about to get painfully serious on my end.

I've recently started a diet and running about 5 days ago and I've gone from 213-209. My target is 190.

So after going up 2 lbs, I lost 6 this week (which puts me at 210) for a total loss of 4 lbs in the challenge.
Jelly belly is at 229, down 8 lbs overall.
I'm shooting for another 8-10 lbs loss over the next two weeks. Considering my weight now, that is actually feasible if I work at it. The bad news is that I have a week of vacation after that. I'm hoping to maintain my weight for vacation if I can, but usually I gain 5+ lbs with all the dining out we are gonna do.

I think it's time I join this as well. I just failed my Air Force PT test the other day. Maxed out on push ups and sit ups (67 and 59 in a minute respectively) but I'm slow on the run. Finished my mile and a half in 13:47 instead of the 13:39 that I needed to pass.
Best I can figure, I need to train more on running and it wouldn't help to lose 15-20 lbs. I'd like to drop a little under 200 lbs. I'm 213 now.
Let the games begin!

We're approximately halfway there and here's how things are looking thus far:
Jelly is down nearly 13 lbs or 5.32% of his starting weight.
Hybrid is UP 0.2 lbs or 0.09% of his starting weight.
One person is evidently TRYING and the other is eating himself into oblivion.

My vacation killed me. I ate everything in sight (deep fried Oreos - yes please)....but I'm not out of the competition just yet.

With four weigh-ins left (one of which I'll be unofficial on because of being on vacastion) here's how things are stacking up:
I've lost 17.4 lbs, 7.34% of my starting weight.
Hybrid has lost 3.6 lbs, 1.68% of his starting weight.
I can smell the cellophane.

Although I am not participating I've lost 20 lbs in 2 months. I've gone from 213-193 and I'm still cruising along.

The final weigh-in is next week, but it's all over except for the movie arriving in my hands.
I'm down 22.6 lbs or 9.5% of my starting weight.
Tankass is UP 0.6 lbs or 0.2% of his starting weight.
