Anyone else a huge college basketball fan? The NCAA tourney is my favorite sporting event of the year. I was wondering if there would be interest in opening a bracket challenge? Selection Sunday is only 2 weeks away.

I mean, I'd get down on an MZ bracket tourney...but this is probably the one major sporting event of a typical year that doesn't particularly excite me.

If we had enough people we could do it...

Do you know what a bracket tourney is?? You fill out a bracket for which teams would win their respective games. Usually, a point value is assigned for correct choices and at the end the winner has the most points.

I could set up the bracket challenge - plenty of free sites track the points for us.

If like to see 6-8 people participate if we were to do this tho.

I might be down with it. Would've had UK going all the way on my bracket at one point, but now, ehhhhhhhhh.

Count me in if you decide to fill out brackets. Should be a good tournament this year.
UK looks like crap right now. Nothing more exciting than the opening weekend upsets.

Not to offend Kentucky or Duke fans, but I always root against them. I’m a UCLA guy, and while my team is not going far this year, I hate to see UK closing in on UCLA’s national championships or Mike Krzyzewski tying John Wooden’s 12 Final Fours.

Speaking from a West Coast perspective, Arizona is still a great team, despite losing one of their top players. San Diego St. could make some noise in the tournament as well.

I know we're not doing a MZ bracket on here but I just had to post this.

If I had decided to make a bracket this year it would have been over with Ohio State getting knocked out in the first round. Meh.

I had Ohio State going to the Sweet 16...Mostly because I have an irrational hatred of Syracuse and can never allow myself to pick them to win more than one game. I think that's been the biggest hit to my bracket thus far...that and Duke. I had both in the Sweet 16. But my entire Elite Eight is alive still.

Right now I'm sitting at 22-6 on my bracket.

Most of the high seeds that lost, I had them going out in the next round, except for Oklahoma State, which I had going to the sweet sixteen. I thought New Mexico might make a 16 run too. I thought Duke was overrated this year but not a first round exit.

I really think the committee needs to look at seeding again, I can't understand why the defending champs, who were a number one seed last year, have an identical record this year but #4.

Well thanks to boneheaded foul by VCU with victory all but assured, I'm 22-7.

Syracuse loses....the SF Austin game was nuts.

I loathe Syracuse so I'm cool with that loss.

I had Kansas losing but not to Stanford. I had Villanova going out in the round of 16. I had Syracuse going to the Elite 8.

I had Kansas losing to Florida...I do feel super confident about Florida making the Final Four now, though...I mean...all they gotta do is get past UCLA and they should be able to handle Dayton/Stanford (that game is dead to me, doesn't matter who wins)

I had Syracuse losing yesterday...but to Ohio State...

I also had Villanova beating UCONN.

I'm in 3rd in my bracket with my friends, and I have the highest max potential...so, I have a chance to win the whole thing still.
