Your TOP FILMS of 2013

Alright folks, we're winding down on 2013, and we do this every year. I've still yet to see a ton of 2013 stuff, but here's my list thus far:
1.) Pacific Rim
2.) The World's End
3.) Pain & Gain
4.) Man of Steel
5.) Maniac
6.) Evil Dead
7.) The Wolverine
8.) Mud
9.) Don Jon
10.) Only God Forgives
7 and up are probably mostly safe, unless some of the films I haven't seen REALLY strike a chord with me.
Honorable Mentions: Warm Bodies, John Dies at the End, The Way Way Back, Elysium, Side Effects, Curse of Chucky, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Iron Man 3.
Need to See (Bolded are highly anticipated by me):
Hatchet 3
Despicable Me 2
The Spectacular Now
You're Next
Riddick
Gravity
Machete Kills
12 Years a Slave
Carrie
Ender's Game
American Hustle
Wolf of Wall Street
Thor 2
Escape from Tomorrow
Ultimately a pretty tough list for me to come up with...there were really only 3 films this year that I absolutely LOVED (my top 3 selections), and then after that, a lot of my stuff on the honorable mentions could occupy any slot on my list and I'd be mostly satisfied.
Not a spectacular year for movies, in that there aren't a lot of movies on my list that I feel compelled to own, but a really solid year for movies in that there were legitimately 18 films that I liked, and when I run down the list of movies I've seen this year, the number of movies I liked FAR exceeds that of movies I didn't like (RIPD, A Good Day to Die Hard, The Bling Ring, After Earth, Spring Breakers, Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Jack the Giant Slayer, Lords of Salem, Gangster Squad, Oz the Great and Powerful, 21 and Over).

1. A Clockwork Orange
2. Alien
3. Halloween
4. Aliens
5. Escape from New York
6. Halloween II
7. Akira
8. Halloween III
9. Black Christmas
10...
...Oh wait, you mean of movies that were released in 2013, not movies I saw on the big screen in 2013.
Uh... this year sucked for movies, but I guess my top 10 list would be:
1. The Hobbit 2
2. The World's End
3. Frozen
4. Star Trek 2
5. Thor 2
6. Catching Fire
7. The Wolf of Wall Street
8. Monster's University
9. Man of Steel
10. Pacific Rim
Ender's Game and F&F6 would be after PR followed by The Conjuring, but honestly, except for the top three, this list is still hard for me to determine if it is really it or not.
I do want to see American Hustle, Despicable Me 2, and Saving Mr Banks, but that is pretty much it. Outside of those, if I did not see it already, I really don't give a crap if I ever see it (like Twilight with Zombies, Elysium, etc).

I dunno, your dismissive attitude REALLY bugs me. Just because something doesn't have a huge marketing campaign and doesn't get wide release makes it not worth seeing or caring about? And 26 movies isn't really a good judge of a year's worth of films.
I've seen over 50 films from this year and I STILL have a list of another 20 or more that I want to see.

Parent life has really killed my movie watching so I don't think any list I could come up with would be very good. I didn't particularly care for the ending of 'The World's End', so it would not make my list. 'Gravity' and 'Pacific Rim' would be on it for sure. Maybe 'Upstream Color', 'Robot & Frank' and 'Grabbers'... but really I have barely seen any 2013 theatrical releases.

This list will change a lot in the next month or so I imagine...but for now, this is where I'm at.
The Man of Tai Chi
Iron Man 3
Hunger Games 2
The Hobbit 2
The World's End
Um...actually...I give up. Not a fan of the movies this year. There's nothing I feel really strongly about. To be fair, I haven't seen any of the movies from the Oscar season so we will see what changes in the next few weeks. I'm going to rent Don Jon tomorrow....I expect I'll like it.
Movies I need to see that could end up on the top 10.
Gravity
The Wolf of Wall Street
47 Ronin
12 Years a Slave
American Hustle
Riddick

I've seen so many movies this year....that question is almost impossible for me to answer. I would never be able to remembereevery movie i saw this year to be able to answer it fairly
