Mystery Science Theater 3000 and food

Thanksgiving has lost some meaning for me since moving away from home. I don't really get together with family or anything anymore, so it's JUST the food...which is a little hollow. Hope everyone has a good one, though.

Thanksgiving is great (my grandmother is a wonderful cook), but on my dad's side of the family there doesn't seem to be any sort of get together. My grandfather passing away has sort of removed the push they felt to keep it going. Still going to stop by and visit some people though.

I used to enjoy Thanksgiving but now that I work in retail I'll be spending my Thanksgiving at work all day.

I bet Rodan would taste delicious roasted.

I have it on good authority that Finn and Jake have grown to gigantic proportions and are rampaging through NYC!

My relatives had other plans, so I wound up buying more groceries than I needed. But I was able to return the extra stuff. No turkey, my aunt was going to do it but she needed to see her umpteenth grandchild, but I'm working on a bunch of New Orleans style sides from John Besh's cookbook.
