What made you choose your Monster Zero username?

I chose "Silver Kamen", because it is a cool 70s Tokusatsu show; and it just sounds great.

Mine's a selection of letters and numbers that reflect the fact that I was 12 and just got the internet when I joined the MZ. I was gonna change it for the longest time, now I've grown fond of it.

Xv because it just sounded cool at the time (go middle school thinking!) and Gojira cuz Gojira.

It's funny how most of the people who signed up where in middle school at the time; and our now Adults.

It's my real name. For the longest time I went by gvamp which was something I came up with in 6th grade that I thought sounded cool so I stuck with it. Then a lot of people started using their real names here so I switched mine.

This is my assumed identity after I had to flee Venezuela due to a "cleaning" incident.

Classic mispronounciation of my last name and a nasty sexual act.

In the Jurassic Park 3 toyline there was a t-rex figure called the "Ultra T-Rex", which I thought was a nifty name in a somewhat silly way, and often used for usernames at the time I signed up on here. So the Ultra doesn't have anything to do with the Ultra series (I barely even knew what Ultraman was at the time I started using it in the early '00s), which I'm guessing a lot of people might assume in the toku fandom.

KaijuZoo, Ithought it had a nice rhyming sound to it and indicated that it was the place "Where the Monsters Live".
So I changed my eBay name to KaijuZoo in November 2001 when I set up my business.

It's my name most internet forums.

My last name is Grymyr, pronounced "Grimmer." Hence, Grymyr Reaper. Hence, Reaper G

Nothing fancy....Rob is my real name....and I was out of work at the time I originally created the name...hence...for hire. Also based on a comic book.

Russell being my first name, and zilla, well, you know. So I just went with it.

When I first got on the interwebz back in the late 90's with a free AOL disc, I chose "thetopcrusader" as my sign up on there because my best friend and I had since we were little kids been drawing comic book adventures of The Top Crusaders, which was basically both of us as muscle bound adults with lots of guns. >_> So when I discovered the old Fandom MZ, which was my first forum, I just went with The Top Crusader, and used that or thetopcrusader for basically every forum and such for many years. At some point on either Fandom or Cinescape, my fellow Top Crusader friend joined as just "Top Crusader" without the "The," but I don't think he ever made it over to the current board. I have started to move away from using this name when I sign up somewhere new, but I haven't bothered to change it on older forums.

Google searches revealed some other random guy using the same name, I emailed him and he said he saw my name on some forum and liked it so started using it. So accept no substitutes.

Describes what I'm doing at a time like this.

All I recall is trying to come up with a new name and looking at the advanced artwork poster for Godzilla X MechaGodzilla
and I just went
"MekaGojira.."
and when it came time for the number I initially put 3000
and was all "DATS LAME, I'LL MAKE IT 3K"

AND THUS HISTORY WAS MADE.

Mines is fairly simple: my name, as most you guys know is Tyler, Preston is my middle name and 20, I dunno where I got it. I also like to shorten it as "TP20".

I honestly have no real appreciation for King Ghidorah as a kaiju lol. I think I picked this name early in my teens when I was full of other unoriginal ideas. I'm surprised I didn't call myself something really stupid like Godzilla or something..

I was an unpopular fat kid until I decided to leave NY and head for Puerto Rico searching for a new life. Well, I did. I became an alcoholic and knee deep in trouble with the law. Until one day I was bitten by a mosquito carrying the West Nile disease. There was no treatment at the time and I was near death. Doctor said in two weeks I will die. I had already lost 150 pounds in the 3 weeks I suffered and I looked like a skeleton. So I prayed that night like never before, so much that I fell asleep in the middle of it. The next morning I was well again and my family and the doctor were surprised. From that day on, it was like a new life for me. From the drunken bum that I was, I began writing, drawing, making music, making movies, stuff I never did before. Then one day I was painting an abstract and I was thinking how a deathly sickness changed my life for the better. My friend pops up and looks at my art and says "wow, thats ill!" And so, the name ILL GREEN was conjured at that moment.
