I like these threads as you get to learn new artists and music to listen to. It could be anything auditory: a particular song, radio/podcast, a whole album, anything. I usually post a picture of the album I am listening to and state the track below it.

"Everytime we say goodbye" - John Coltrane

Such a great tune by such an amazing artist.

An old Casey Casem "American Top 40" countdown. Actually, it's the top 100 for 1975.

#22: Average White Band, "Pick Up the Pieces".

It is songs like that that give me a greater amount of hatred for the radio. I'm so sick of pop and nickleback and yuk. More solo guitar kthx bye.

Just got back from vacation. Downloaded three Harry Nilsson albums before the trip (Aerial Ballet, Pandemonium Shadow Show, and Nilsson Schmilsson). Have been enjoying them immensely.

Nilsson's version of River Deep, Mountain High (originally done by Ike and Tina Turner) is my current favorite song ever.

I've been listening to a lot of Black Sabbath lately. Right now I'm listening to the album Forbidden, which really isn't as bad as people say it is. "Illusion of Power" has that really lame vocal delivery at the start, but things recovers pretty nicely after that. First song aside, the album's not that much worse than any other Tony Martin Sabbath - maybe not as good as Headless Cross or The Eternal Idol, but more memorable to my ears than Cross Purposes, and about on par with Tyr.

I like it, a little too clean compared to their earlier stuff, but I dig it overall. Je Me Perds might be my favorite track.

For the past two days I've been on a big NIN binge. I like their older stuff more, but I'm listening to it all.

I finally listened to MCR's Conventional Weapons singles. Blech. At least I still have Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and Black Parade.
