Well, it's already the 21st in parts of the world, and there hasn't been anything on the news yet...

SOOOooo....

As I mention in the what are u giving thread, my wife & I already gave each other our presents b/c of work & travel issues.

She gave me this:

It's an Orion Starblast 4.5 equatorial mount telescope. I love it! I know nothing about telescopes but I've always loved space exploration. And as a film nut I love cameras and lenses and such. And let's face it, whether you're using them to project moving images from celluloid or to view stars of a different nature, optics are optics and they're really cool!

We took it out tonight and had our first look at the moon. What an incredible sight. You could clearly see craters, mountain ranges, etc. Just surreal. I can see this becoming a very addicting hobby....

Just came in from seeing Jupiter and four of its moons! You could even see the line patterns of Jupiter's clouds... LOVING my Christmas present!

Won't be getting anything big.
We decided to do a stocking for everybody (after at least 10 years of not doing one).
I bought myself some anime (Black Lagoon & the stuff in the anime topic).
Know I will be getting a lifesavers Sweet Storybook & Dark Chocolate Orange. Besides that, no clue (will find out tomorrow).
