This past week I've been the sickest I've been in a couple of years. I thought I had caught a cold a few weeks ago when I had to push carts at work in the pouring rain when it was barely above freezing so my plan was to go to the Doctor's on Monday if I wasn't feeling better.

Well Wednesday when I woke up I ended up vomiting and I had stomach cramps so I figured I had caught the flu, I decided to call into work and afterwards went to the Doctor's just to cover my bases. Turns out I had the flu and a sinus infection. I got a shot to help with nausea which helped for about 8 hours then I ended up vomiting again and I got a prescription of antibiotics to help with the sinus infection which they don't seem to be working all that great.

I got over the flu in about a day I'm still a little quezzy but that's because of the antibiotic I got prescribed which can cause nausea. I hoping by the end of the weekend I'll be fully recovered or at least over this cough that I've had for awhile.

Sounds like the bug that's going around this year. Its a bad one man. Usually its either naseau, or sinus related stuff, not both, but this year is different. Not only that, but when my family and I had it a month or so ago, we all had it for a few weeks.

I've had a cold for two weeks. Caught it from by dad at the start of the week, took some meds (though I don't usually like to) so I could be chipper for a hot date on Friday and New Year's thereafter.

I didn't buy more when I ran out. Felt fine during the weekend, but now I'm still being dogged by coughing and congestion.

But that's not the worst of it.

Had a horrible headache when I got home last night. Which was bad, because I was working on a newsletter template for a client of mine. I think it was from staring at a computer screen for 90% of my time through the week. Bought some painkillers, it got better. I made progress. Then I decided to take a nap.

Woke up before six this morning with a hacking cough and an even worse headache. God.

Luckily, the headache's fading now. (crosses fingers).

I had either a bad cold or a mild flu a month ago. I was sick for about a week and was so wrecked I spent another week recovering before I felt back to 100% - and now all this pollen aggravating my allergies!
