Thanks bookmarked the site.

Is it just me or does Tom's dogs look a lot like a Piranha?

I got a Nikon L110 for Christmas this year and I love it. It has a great macro mode and the 12.1 mp and 15x zoom are a huge step up for me. The only complaint I have so far is that it's almost like the lens is too good for the camera. I guess that sounds weird and it is kind of hard to explain. I have taken some great pictures with it though and like I said, it is a huge improvement over my old camera. Here is a couple pics I have taken with it so far that I like.

Here's the latest photo I took earlier tonight, it's my first dusk shot and I think it turned out pretty good.

I was in a hurry getting settings changed because I forgot I wanted to do a shot like this, but thankfully everything turned out okay, yeah it could have been better but it also could have been worse. The only problem is that it's a little bit darker than what it was acutally outside when I took the picture.

Maybe one of my favorite pics I have taken in awhile. I know, a lot of flowers. My roommate is a plant science major and he loves growing orchids.

Thanks! No, unfortunately, I can't use different lenses on my camera. It has a macro mode that lets me get pretty darn good macro shots though. Here are 2 that I didnt resize or anything. I really can't imagine needing to get much closer than these.

Someday I will get a real camera that I can switch lenses and all but for now, the one I have works pretty well.

I got those same SD cards on Amazon a month or so ago but they were the 8GB size. I got 2 of them though because they were only $25 a piece. They are awesome cards. I actually tried to get some more and it turned out that they were on some crazy sale and there weren't any left. You may want to take a look at Amazon. I am seeing the same one you posted but for about $40 less. Pretty good savings.

I REALLY wish I had a Macro lens for these shots but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I'm defiently going to be investing in a macro lens ASAP.

^Lol, it looks like it was intentionally modeling for you.

I do both photo and video and myself.

I shot this for a class project with a Sony HDR-FX1000 earlier this year. I thought it turned out fairly well. I did notice mistakes during editing, but oh well. What's done is done. My instructor's thought it was executed well and so did some of my friends.

Anyways, check it out! It's not in HD since I shot on tape and not with a P2 card.

Comments more than welcomed! :D

As for photography, I have yet to start doing any myself since I don't have a good enough camera to do so. I've been debating whether to purchase either the Canon T3i or the Canon 60D next semester (Spring '12). I've been leaning towards the 60D since my friend has one and we had thoughts of starting our own company and thought of working on some projects together.
