Movie Series where you enjoy every entry...

What are some movie series' where you like every entry in the series? I know its VERY rare because you can almost always count on someone to mess up a good thing... but I know some of you have to have a couple, so lets here em. To be legit, I'm gonna say it has to be a series of three or more films... and reboots and remakes count, so none of this "original Star Wars trilogy only" or "everything but the remake" nonsense. Extra points if you like the Asylum's rip off of said film series!

If there aren't any, just say there aren't any.

For me:

-Evil Dead
-Hammer Frankensteins
-Romero's Dead series (yup, even the new ones)
-Piranha (yep, including both remakes AND the Asylum's Mega Piranha)
-Toy Story
-Lord of the Rings (although its really almost one giant movie)
-Daimajin
-Creature From The Black Lagoon
-Gamera
-Daei's Yokai series

Godzilla WOULD have made it if not for GINO and Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla, which I almost have a seething hatred for and GxMG, which I find to be incredibly boring and redundant. But since EVERYONE here hates GINO, I guess I'll let that film slide.

Friday the 13th probably would have made it if not for parts 5, 8, and 9.

Man, I'm right there with you on Godzilla if it weren't for '98 (which I don't think is really fair as it's NOT part of the Japanese series...) but Space G kills it anyway for me...

The only one I can really think of is Indiana Jones. I love the original 3 and, while I don't LOVE it (& it took some coming around to) I have grown to like Crystal Sull. It's flawed, no doubt, but it has enough enjoyable things about it that I've gotten over the parts I orginally thought ruined it for me.

One of these days I'm going to actually watch The Creature Walks Among Us (I've had that legacy set since it came out...) & maybe that'll be added to the list. I can't add a lot of older series to the list b/c I haven't seen every entry yet...

Ooh, looking at the original post made me think of two more

Daimajin
The Samurai Trilogy

oh one more, The Bourne Trilogy

Back to the Future trilogy.

Toy Story trilogy.

Evil Dead trilogy.

The Man With No Name trilogy.

The Matrix trilogy. The first one is a classic, the second feels trapped between being a sequel to the original and a parody of it, but it's still a fun action movie for what it is, and Revolutions was a great conclusion.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I recently saw all three of the extended versions for the first time earlier this year. Really great stuff.

Jurassic Park trilogy. The first is a classic (and my single favorite movie), and the second was a well done, worthy follow-up. The third one irks me because it's such a sharp nosedive in quality compared to the first two, but it's certainly not terrible and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it.

Romero's Dead films, although I still haven't seen Diary.

Toy Story, Back to the Future, Evil Dead, and the Dollars Trilogy are the only ones I can think of.

I would say all the films the Marx Brothers made if not for thier final film, Love Happy - which was really a Harpo film with Chico in a supporting role and Groucho with a cameo.

I haven't seen the last two (of the six) Thin Man films.

Back to the Future trilogy
The Man with No Name trilogy
The Bourne trilogy
The Heisei Gamera trilogy

To be honest, I can't think of any others where I enjoyed every entry, although there's quite a few where I enjoyed all but one or two (Indiana Jones, James Bond, Jurassic Park, Godzilla, etc.)
