Alright, so, just random vent time (that's what General Discussion is for, right?)

I keep seeing those "blueberry paaaaaaancaaakes" commercials on TV for Bisquick but, they are NOT eating blueberry pancakes

they are eating NORMAL pancakes with blueberries on top

blueberry pancakes look like THIS:


does it ever aggrivate anyone else to think that you might be the only person on the face of the earth with a working human brain???

LOL! Um... not really. Some restaurants actually serve pancakes with blueberries on top and call them blueberry pancakes, or pour strawberry preserves on top and call 'em strawberry pancakes, etc. Such things don't irritate me as much as.... say..... when you're at a drive-thru window and the worker asks you for ketchup, you say yes and they hand you your order and don't include the ketchup.

if i ordered blueberry pancakes and got pancakes with blueberries on top, i'd be PISSED

When I worked in a restuarant we'd mix blueberries in the pancake mix not pour them on top.

The best pancake I have is IHOP's Chocolate Chip with chocolate chips mixed in the batter.
