Japanese language support for MS Vista?

Who is there among us that knows how to help me rig this meshuggenuh Vista OS to display Japanese characters? :?
For my computer's XP, I just downloaded a Japanese Language Support program and it displayed all the "alphabets" kanji, etc., fine.
Now this #@%&! Vista isn't helping me. :x

Can you help me? :?:
