The first kanji is the number "6," the second kanji is "road, street, or way," the third kanji I've never seen before, and the fourth kanji is "live, life, raw, or fresh."
I just asked my wife to take a look at it too, and she thinks it may be Chinese (she's Japanese). She's never seen that third character, either.
I Googled ˜Z“¹ and it appears to have something to do with Buddhism, and a Shinto shrine. Couldn't find anything with the second two kanji.
