Spider-Man by Dr. Seuss: Take 2!
Posted: Fri Aug 10, 2007 3:59 amQuite some time ago I posted brief, Dr. Seuss-style synopsis' of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. Recently I wrote up one for Spider-Man 3, so I decided to share it, plus the first two for those that missed them.
Green Goblin attacked, he flew through the city
But Peter, meanwhile, wanted Mary Jane's pity
He got bit by a spider, of which he wasn't a fan
And then, all of a sudden, he became Spider-Man!
He could shoot spider webs, climb walls, and jump high
But the evil Green Goblin just wished he would die
Spidey fought Gobby, twas good versus bad
He found out the Goblin was his best friend's own dad!
Octavious, meanwhile, tried out his new arms
Sadly for him, though, his wife bought the farm
Spidey tried to calm him, and keep people from danger
But Doc Ock, he discovered, was getting stranger and stranger
"Poor Ock," Spidey thought, "His arms make him insane."
"You loser," Doc Ock said, "Why don't you go catch a train?"
Doc Ock later went and tried to make his own sun
For the people of New York, this wouldn't be fun
Spidey came back to try to put Doc Ock down
But it was Ock himself who saved us, though sadly, he drowned
Harry was pissed, his father was dead
To get his revenge, he'd need Spider-Man's head
Sandman, meanwhile, had a sick daughter
To get money to help her would mean Spider-Man's slaughter
Eddie Brock was a man who Peter humiliated
To make matters worse, he took the girl Eddie dated!
Harry battled Peter, Goblin Junior was mad
"Listen to me!" Peter cried. "I did not kill your dad!"
Eddie became Venom and teamed up with Sandman
To eliminate Spidey was their nefarious plan
Harry got over his vendetta, to save Peter and MJ
Though Harry was slain, Peter still saved the day
Sandman appologized and flew off in the wind
Venom was vaporized, Eddie lost in his sin
