On the one hand, I'm terribly sad that the nearest Barnes & Noble is shutting down. On the other, I got three most excellent art/photo books for $23 and some change thanks to the clearance sale!

Just go back from vacation in Tennessee and got two nice souvenirs: a 12 inch tall Popeye piggy bank (essentially a vinyl figure) from a pop-culture merch shop and Grandfather Tales, a book of Appalachian folktales compiled by Richard Chase (whose other two books of stories I read last year).

Got this a week or two ago. Game play not really my style, but pretty close what with it being cooperative and a simple pass or fail mechanic. Also you know the Lovecraft theme.

Got an Action Replay Powersaves device for the Wii.
Since I did not realize you needed to download something onto it, I have not used it yet. I have no "real" Internet at home, just iPhone.
Not sure if I will get to it until Thursday.
