did you read the reviews of the first two movies (i mean STAR WARS and EMPIRE)? it seems as though the missing ingredient is producer Gary Kurtz as those two movies get glowing reviews.

as opposed to the rest.

by the way, it was 30 years ago today that Star Wars was released in the US!

There will be two one hour TV movies made as well as a Clone Wars TV show at least that's what I gathered from G4TV's coverage of the convention.

But you just said resume [which is impressive]. And of course I don't believe it is unheard of for an established director, usually in a exec. prod/producer role, to co-direct a movie but not take credit for it.

Take Radioland Murders for instance. Lucas has Executive Producer AND Writer credits, there's no telling what his unofficial involvment may have been.
