Mayor Itoh of Nagasaki Assassinated
Posted: Thu Apr 19, 2007 7:16 amNo doubt you've heard of Nagasaki's Mayor Itoh's assassination two days ago. It happens that I am in Nagasaki today and saw the location of the Mayor's assassination while en route to the Nagasaki A-bomb museum. On the way back, I stopped and took this photo from a nearby footbridge. Afterwards, I went in and signed the condolence book. They seemed touched that a foreigner would take the time to honor their fallen Mayor.
