...and speaking of rocky fellows: the first issue of the revamped anthology title Dark Horse Presents came out last week, and it features the first Paul Chadwick Concrete story in half a decade. I got hooked on the character a few years ago with the tpbs, so this is the first time I've actually got a Concrete story when it's been first published in a monthly (or bi-monthly in this case). It's a rather nifty little story in which Concrete takes his dog for a walk during the middle of the night (as Concrete would rather not be stared at, even if the neighborhood is somewaht used to him) and gets involved in a crime... Concrete isn't a traditional superhero, but he does end up playing the part a bit more then he usually does in this.
. Without a doubt the best comic on the selves these days for me and written by one Gail Simone who if some remember also writes Birds of Prey and did a run on Wonder Woman some time ago. Bottom line read this, start any where in the series and i`ll be surprised if you don`t get hooked in someway.
